General Summary
Works directly with the project manager to create and maintain a project’s budget and schedule work, analyze progress reported against the work schedules, and recommend actions to improve progress.
Essential Functions- Build and maintain an integrated project schedule using industry software to include resource loading, creating calendars, and coding structures.
- Develop and maintain manpower curves.
- Track and monitor actual vs planned project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure financial control.
- Maintain accurate project files and produce reports as needed or requested.
- Track POs, invoice status and subcontracts to reconcile commitments vs budget.
- Effectively communicate project(s) status to project managers.
- Interact with clients and customers as needed.
- Coordinate with the finance and accounting teams during billing cycles, audits, and month-end close.
- Analyze performance data, including project costs, revenue, margins, budgets, and variances.
- Develop risk mitigations and contingency planning.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports as needed or requested by the operations team.
- Continuously looks for ways to improve results or outcomes to increase customer satisfaction and decrease the bottom line.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Project Management or similar, combined with experience to manage a set of varying quantities and sizes of projects. Minimum of 5 years controlling projects. Expert in computer usage, including Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and the Internet.
