Job Summary
Assist in preparation of financial forecasts, variance analyses and regulatory filings.
What You’ll Do- Assist in initiating and formulating financial forecasts in conjunction with operating company personnel.
- Aid in monthly/quarterly variance reporting and analysis of budget vs. actual results and actual vs. prior‑year results for improving future forecasts.
- Analyze results to help operating companies understand financial results and assist Financial Reporting in SEC reporting.
- Provide support in identifying needed rate relief and make recommendations for timing and amount.
- Assist in developing and preparing pro‑forma rate case data and testimony.
- Assist witness in testimony preparation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Perform financial modeling and prepare financial reports/analysis.
- Conduct month‑end close variance analysis, data analysis, and financial performance forecasting.
- Bachelor’s Degree; preferred majors: accounting, finance, or economics.
- 1‑5 years of experience in FP&A or Accounting.
- Experience with financial modeling and preparing financial reports/analysis.
- Experience in month‑end close variance analysis, data analysis, and financial performance forecasting.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, relationship building, teamwork, adaptability, customer focus, planning/organizing skills.
Sedentary. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

CompensationBase salary for Financial Analyst: $74,551 – $111,826 per year. Base salary for Financial Analyst Senior: $87,633 – $131,453 per year. Compensation grade: SP20‑005, range $63,496.00 – $.
