Senior Financial Data Analyst (Open)

The Senior Financial Data Analyst provides support to the FP&A department in financial analysis, internal reporting, modeling, and business finance support for sales and operations. Responsibilities include headcount and overtime analysis, credit & collections analysis, annual budgeting, forecasting, and data analytics for sales, operations, finance, HR, pricing, and administration. The analyst plays a key role in creating and distributing monthly and quarterly metrics for each regional company, spearheads budgeting and forecasting, supports reporting processes and incentive program calculations, and continuously improves field reports.
Strong data and analytical skills are essential.

- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes with the Director of FP&A and regional & division leadership.
- Develop and present analysis and reporting on operating metrics: sales, gross margin, operating expenses, working capital, asset utilization, capital expenditures, headcount, overtime, and HR related metrics.
- Support regional leadership and corporate FP&A in tracking operating efficiencies.
- Create and maintain financial analysis models supporting the Division strategic plan and corporate FP&A requests.
- Improve use of data warehouse reporting tools, including Business Warehouse (BW) and Power BI, and organize training sessions.
- Build strong relationships with Division and Regional teams.
- Assist in acquisition due diligence, analysis, and integration.
- Mentor and develop junior analysts.
- Undertake other projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Master’s degree in finance or related field
- At least 5 years of financial reporting or financial analysis experience
- Familiarity with financial statements and investment decision finance concepts
- Experience mentoring coworkers and collaborating in teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across divisional, local, and corporate levels
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system development
- MBA (Master of Business Administration)
- Experience with SAP
- Knowledge of industrial companies
