What is the position? The Associate Advisor will be responsible for supporting the delivery of comprehensive financial plans that help clients achieve their life goals. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent college graduate or upcoming graduate eager to grow within a collaborative, client-focused firm and work closely with lead advisors to gain hands‑on experience in financial planning and long‑term financial decision‑making.

The role will also provide administrative support, primarily related to client account paperwork and documentation.

What are the responsibilities?

As an Associate Advisor, you will:

  • Assist with client account paperwork, documentation, and other administrative tasks
  • Assist in developing and maintaining personalized financial plans that incorporate budgeting, insurance, estate planning, and goal setting
  • Maintain and update client records and planning tools to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Proactively communicate with clients through phone, email, and in-person meetings to ensure a thorough, client‑first planning experience
  • Learn and gain exposure to areas of financial planning, including insurance, estate planning, retirement, and long‑term financial decision‑making
  • Provide general administrative support to the advisory team as needed
What are the requirements?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Financial Planning, or related field, or expected graduation in the near future
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships or related coursework are a plus
  • Interest in pursuing Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification
  • Understanding of estate planning, insurance planning, and retirement strategies is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills
  • Willingness to assist with administrative responsibilities as needed
