Position: OPS CORRECTIONAL OFFICER STATEWIDE 1

Overview

This is a statewide advertisement for part‑time OPS Correctional Officer positions. The positions are limited to no more than 25.5 hours per week and are available across multiple Florida facilities.

Compensation

$22.00 Hourly

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be certified as a Correctional Officer in Florida and have an active certification in good standing.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be a United States Citizen.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Not have been convicted of any felony or of a misdemeanor involving perjury or a false statement, and have not received a dishonorable discharge from any of the Armed Forces of the United States.
  • Pass a medical examination and drug test.
  • Have a good moral character as determined by a background investigation.
