Dynamic FT Medical Assistant needed for joint replacement clinic in North OKC

The perfect candidate is energetic, patient-oriented and a team player.

The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring efficient clinic operations while delivering compassionate patient service. This position requires a professional with comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy. Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (Epic) systems is a plus

• Room patients and obtain vitals and reason for visit
• Charting in EHR (Epic) and processing paperwork to check out
• Assist the physician and PA in clinic
• Prepping procedures, orders for diagnostic procedures and outside referrals
• Phone triage, completing FMLA and work comp forms
• Clean and stock patient rooms
• Other duties as assigned

• Only candidates with a minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical setting will be considered
• Experience in an orthopedic surgeons office a plus
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (Epic) preferred but not required
• Must be able to multi-task while being efficient, friendly and professional while maintaining excellent patient care
• High School Graduate or equivalent required (GED)
