Job Title: Cardiac / Vascular Sonographer (Traveler)
Shift: Days
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Note: Possible travel to Tulsa South Campus
- Perform advanced adult and/or pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures including TEE and stress echo
- Perform peripheral vascular studies including arterial, renal, and transcranial Doppler
- Review patient history and reports prior to procedures
- Operate ultrasound equipment and digital networking systems to obtain optimal diagnostic images
- Communicate abnormal findings promptly to reading physicians
- Assist physicians with complex procedures including:
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- SAVR (Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Tandem Heart procedures
- Lariat procedures
- Pseudoaneurysm compression
- Maintain accurate documentation and departmental tracking
- Ensure compliance with QA, National Accreditation, and hospital policies
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- Promote infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Minimum six (6) months of related experience
- Ability to work independently
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare staff
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Cardiac Ultrasound program preferred
