Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Days vary; must be flexible) | Every other weekend required
Requirements:
- Active Oklahoma RN License (or valid compact license)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (required)
- 0–6 months of related RN experience accepted
- Epic EMR experience
- Strong knowledge of disease management, bio-psychosocial care model, and clinical pathways
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work efficiently
- Detail-oriented with accuracy in clinical and numerical data review
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process in alignment with hospital standards and unit policies. The RN delivers safe, patient-centered care while considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care
- Perform assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Deliver and prioritize nursing interventions appropriate to patient population
- Document care accurately and timely using proper medical terminology
- Educate patients and families, including discharge teaching
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and make appropriate referrals
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and adaptability in changing situations
- Participate in quality improvement activities and required education/in-services
- Complete variance reports accurately and on time
