**** About the Role
** Helping to create a home residents love, you’ll take pride in delivering care standards that are of the highest level.
** As a Lifestyle Coordinator you'll;
*** Plan, implement and maintain lifestyle programs in line with residents needs and preferences.
* Maintain and document appropriate budgetary requirements.
* Provide guidance in Lifestyle Assistant recruitment.
* Conduct individualised assessments and set lifestyle goals for the residents and implement programs to help them achieve these
* Provide new and innovative ideas to engage residents.
* One-on-one support to residents with cognitive impairment, including individual therapy activities and specific programs designed to prevent or manage a particular condition or behaviour and to enhance the quality of life.
* Build genuine relationships with the residents and their families
* Create exciting programs that reach social, emotional, and spiritual fulfillment
* Coordinate group activities inside and outside of the home
* Work closely with the wider support team in the home to meet resident's needs
* Provide training and supervision of more junior staff and volunteers
* This position is full time, including weekends, with an hourly rate of $39.19 plus additional weekend penalties.
** You’ll be a real team player who:
*** Has a passion for building genuine relationships and a desire to see residents enjoying themselves
* Holds a Certificate III in Lifestyle and Leisure (or equivalent).
* Availability for Monday - Sunday work including AM, PM, ND
* Experience in lifestyle programs within Aged care setting
* Understanding of accreditation standards
* Effective written and verbal communication skills##
