Position SummaryThe Coordinator of Crisis Intervention & Management oversees district-level coordination of crisis response and Tier 3 case management services to support students experiencing significant emotional, behavioral, or safety-related concerns. This role activates and supports the District Response Team protocol, collaborates with school leaders and community partners, and ensures timely, compliant follow-up following crisis events. The Coordinator provides leadership in crisis triage, mental health response, data compliance, and follow-up services.
The position supports schools in implementing effective crisis intervention practices, connects students and families to appropriate resources, and monitors district data related to crisis response and mental health supports. This role requires strong independent judgment, crisis management expertise, and the ability to collaborate across departments and external agencies in high‑stress situations.
- Master’s degree in social work, clinical counseling, counseling psychology, or a closely related field.
- Experience supporting students, families, or stakeholders in crisis situations.
- Experience in school-based or community mental health services preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention practices and Tier 3 supports.
- Understanding relevant state laws, district policies, and ethical standards governing student mental health services.
- Knowledge of Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks.
- Ability to interpret and monitor data related to mental health and crisis response.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Oklahoma licensure as one of the following:
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW);
Licensed Social Worker (LSW);
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW);
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC);
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT);
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC); or actively under supervision for licensure. - Certified school counselor is a plus.
