Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

• Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures to provide accurate images and measurements for physician diagnosis
• Execute advanced cardiac and/or peripheral vascular procedures with proper technique, efficiency, and judgment
• Conduct adult and/or pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures including TEE and stress echo
• Perform peripheral vascular procedures including arterials, renals, and transcranial Doppler
• Assist physicians with complex procedures in OR, Hybrid lab, Cath lab including TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, and Lariet procedures
• Operate ultrasound equipment and utilize ancillary devices such as transducers and digital networking systems
• Provide immediate feedback with preliminary reports of critical results to nurses and physicians
• Review patient data and reports before procedures
• Maintain proper documentation according to lab, departmental, and hospital policies
• Participate in on‑call rotation after regular business hours
• Six months of related experience required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Cardiac Ultrasound certification program preferred
• Required certifications: RDCS or RVT from ARDMS, or RCS or RVS from CCI, and BLS
• Must maintain current competency and registry in specialty practices
• Epic Documentation and Epic Systems experience required
• Ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills
