Salary & Bonuses

$82,000 annually for licensed therapists, plus an $8,000 first‑year bonus. $72,000 annually for therapists under supervision, plus a $5,000 first‑year bonus.

Family & Children’s Services therapists work to heal hurting and abused children, strengthen families, and provide hope and a path to recovery for those battling mental illness and addiction. This school‑based therapist will work with children ages 4‑18 at a school site, providing evidence‑based treatment to students and families who may face significant behavioral and emotional challenges and high‑stress environments.

Therapist will conduct intakes, develop and update treatment plans, provide individual, family, and group therapy, and collaborate monthly with teachers. Therapist may also be assigned to provide services to children and/or adults in the office‑based program for family strengthening on occasion.

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling psychology, or equivalent from an accredited school
• Knowledge and experience in individual, group, and family therapy
• Experience conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Demonstrated clinical family systems orientation and ability to work with diverse populations with multiplicity of problems
• Licensed or under supervision for licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Oklahoma
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; must use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office

Our school‑based therapists are primarily embedded in one school, which becomes their workplace with full access to their client’s education team. Some may serve multiple schools in one area. Therapists often have flexibility to design a schedule that best suits them. Schedules follow school calendars for virtual and no‑school days, and salary is paid over 12 months to avoid gaps.

Family & Children’s Services works to heal hurting and abused children, strengthen families, and provide hope and a path to recovery. You will be working in an innovative and dynamic environment using the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model—a team‑based approach delivering whole‑person care for adults and children with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
