- Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
- Perform diagnostic MRI studies as scheduled and in accordance with departmental standards.
- Provide clear instructions and ensures patient comfort and safety during all aspects of MRI procedures.
- Assist with patient care needs including transport, positioning, and IV access as appropriate.
- Obtain all required documentation to support accurate physician interpretation.
- Perform and document daily quality control on MRI equipment and report equipment issues promptly to the designated personnel and the system engineer.
- Assist with training technologists and physicians as part of ongoing research activities and beta‑testing initiatives.
- Maintain adequate inventory of MRI supplies and ensures a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Maintain image storage, archiving and long-term data management per departmental standards.
Job Requirements
- Registered or registry eligible with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
- Registry eligible candidates must obtain MRI registry within one year of hire and maintain active certification throughout employment.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in operating MRI scanners
- Ability to start IV lines and administer contrast media, including knowledge of contrast reactions and appropriate interventions
