Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital's RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.

The Unit Clerk supports the Radiology department by coordinating administrative and patient service activities that promote efficient departmental operations, timely communication, and a positive patient experience.

This position serves as a central point of contact for patients, providers, and staff while ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of clinical and scheduling information.

The role maintains operational workflow through effective organization, documentation management, and customer service.

The Unit Clerk contributes to quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and overall departmental effectiveness through dependable administrative support.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential.
  • Ability to comply with organizational training and onboarding requirements.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and confidentiality practices.
  • Skill in verbal and written communication.
  • Skill in organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use computer systems, electronic health records, and standard office software.

Preferred

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ years of administrative, clerical, customer service, or healthcare support experience.
  • Experience using Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) applications.
  • Knowledge of radiology scheduling and registration workflows.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to patient information management.
  • Skill in resolving customer service concerns professionally.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
