Optometry Tech - Temporary

Experienced Lead Optometry Tech

Qualified candidate needed for a full time temporary position lasting until February 2027.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in the Optometry and/or Ophthalmology field
• Must be bilingual in Spanish/English
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and support team members
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well independently while fostering a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the team to ensure efficient daily clinic operations
• Perform ophthalmic testing and assist providers with patient care
• Train and mentor team members while promoting high standards of patient care
• Take initiative in identifying workflow improvements and helping the team achieve practice goals
• Ensure excellent patient experiences through compassionate and efficient care.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a clinic environment
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Possess the ability to bend, lift, and climb stairs
• Work may involve exposure to operating circumstances requiring standard or prescribed safety precautions.
