Medical Assistant – Specialty Clinic Tulsa, OK | Monday–Friday | Full-Time | $18.00–$24.00/hour DOE | Temp-to-Hire

Our clients are seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Medical Assistants to join a variety of specialty healthcare practices throughout the Tulsa area. We are hiring for multiple specialties, offering an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical experience while working alongside highly skilled providers in a professional and patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate is a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant who enjoys providing exceptional patient care, thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting, and is committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience.

• Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for provider visits.
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs, height, weight, medical history, allergies, and current medications.
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer injections, medications, immunizations, and perform other clinical duties within scope of certification.
• Perform EKGs, specimen collection, phlebotomy, or other specialty-specific procedures as needed.
• Prepare, clean, stock, and maintain examination and procedure rooms.
• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and prior authorizations for medications, procedures, imaging, and specialty services.
• Provide patient education and reinforce provider instructions.
• Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and clinic policies.
• Support efficient patient flow while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent credential preferred.
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience working in a physician office, specialty clinic, or outpatient setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care practices.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor.
• Current BLS certification is preferred.

• Experience with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, or specimen collection.
• Prior authorization and insurance verification experience.
• Surgical scheduling or referral coordination experience.
• Experience in one or more medical specialties.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, eClinical
  
  Works, Next Gen, Athenahealth, Greenway, or similar platforms.

• Competitive pay of $18.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Monday–Friday schedule with normal business hours (varies by clinic).
