Urology Medical Assistant Trinity Employment Specialists – Tulsa, OK

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | Day Shift Compensation: $16.00–$17.50/hour DOE | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a compassionate and dependable Urology Medical Assistant to join a busy specialty clinic in Tulsa. This position supports physicians in providing exceptional patient care through a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment while delivering outstanding patient service. Previous urology experience is preferred but not required.

Candidates with strong clinical Medical Assistant experience in other specialty or primary care settings are encouraged to apply.

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for provider evaluations and procedures.
• Obtain and accurately document patient medical histories, vital signs, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
• Assist urologists with examinations, in-office procedures, and other clinical duties as directed.
• Prepare treatment and procedure rooms while ensuring appropriate supplies and equipment are available.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms while following OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control guidelines.
• Update and maintain accurate patient documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Schedule patient appointments, follow-up visits, diagnostic testing, and surgical procedures.
• Coordinate referrals and obtain prior authorizations when required.
• Educate patients on procedures, medications, treatment plans, and post-procedure instructions.
• Answer incoming patient calls, document concerns, and communicate with providers regarding patient needs.
• Relay provider instructions, prescription information, and follow-up recommendations to patients.
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic while providing excellent customer service.
• Assist with additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Previous clinical Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience in a urology or specialty clinic is highly preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of patient intake procedures, vital signs, and clinical documentation.
• Familiarity with sterile technique and infection control practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Professional appearance with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings.
