Cath Lab Tech
The position requires a Cath Lab Tech to work four 10-hour shifts per week. Weekend, overnight, and holiday call are required. First-time travelers are welcomed. The unit values experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Travelers may float to similar units as needed based on facility needs. Orientation will be provided onsite.
Minimum of 1 year of experience required. Valid allied license required.
Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, ARRT or CCI (RCIS) Must-Have:
Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization. Skills in cardiac implant closure device placement, cardiac stent placement, and diagnostic catheterizations. Ability to perform IABP placement and removal. Proficient in the interpretation of dysrhythmias. Experienced in left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). Knowledge in right heart catheterization and rotablator atherectomy. Skilled in scrub procedures, equipment setup, and maintaining a sterile field.
Familiar with isolation precautions/PPE and sterile techniques.
