Psychiatrist -PRN​/ As Needed

Psychiatrist Position

PRN position only. Competitive Pay! Responsible for care of medical and psychiatric clients, be a liaison for hospital and structure emergency care for patients, participation in patient care teams, and assistance to management, as requested. Demonstrates knowledge of co-occurring disorders and appropriate interventions. Generally will treat over 20 patients daily.

PREFERRED

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Medical Degree with psychiatry specialty and a minimum of 5 years of psychiatry experience. Previous experience in community-based mental health organization is desired. Extensive experience diagnosing mental health problems with adult & children clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Appropriate credentials to practice psychiatry in Oklahoma. No history of ethics or other professional violations.

SPECIAL JOB DIMENSIONS:
Normal office hours, with some evening and weekend clinic hours for clients. You will be working in an innovative and dynamic environment using a new transformative model of care Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). This model is characterized by innovative, team-based approach and whole person care for adults and children with a range of complex mental health and substance use challenges.

Utilizing multi-disciplinary teams, staff work collaboratively to provide a coordinated effort to enhance client recovery. Robust CCBHC services often result in better client outcomes and quality of care due to:
Increased access to care and crisis services Expanded traditional community mental health and substance use services. Added Care Coordination and physical health screening for mental health clients Greater access to Social Services for clients' economic and social needs Increased specialized services for veterans, those most in need, and those impacted by the opioid crisis.
