OBGYN Medical Assistant

OBGYN Medical Assistant | Tulsa, OK M-F 8am-5pm.

Pay begins $16.00 based on experience and experience in our specialty and goes up.

At least 2 years of experience in the last 5 years (OB/GYN preferred).

Must have proof of current certification or registration & will be required to maintain certification/registration. Certification or registration must accompany resume.

• Escort patient to and from exam room.
• Records patient data in EHR at each visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies & medication changes.
• Obtains all necessary consents prior to treatment or procedure.
• Assist provider with exams and procedures - knowledge of GYN procedures, Nexplanon & IUD's.
• Schedules surgeries, patient referrals, and appointments as required.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms & procedure rooms.
• Follows all exam & treatment room disinfections, OSHA and HIPAA protocols.
• Cleaning and processing of instruments and equipment as needed.
• Trained to give injections.
• Maintain efficient patient flow.
• Displays excellent customer service, verbal & written communication and attention to detail.
