- Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital’s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.
The Materials Tech provided dedicated supply and inventory support for surgical, procedural, and other clinical areas, ensuring teams have the materials and equipment needed to support safe and efficient patient care. This role works closely with nursing, clinical leaders, Supply Chain, and Purchasing to maintain appropriate inventory levels, coordinate specialty supply needs, and ensure critical items are available for scheduled and emergent procedures.
- Maintains and replenishes medical supply inventory, par levels, and point-of-use locations for assigned surgical and procedural areas.
- Partners with nursing and clinical teams to anticipate supply needs and respond to urgent or specialty requests.
- Processes and tracks non-stock and specialty supply orders in coordination with Purchasing.
- Receives, verifies, organizes, and distributes medical supplies and equipment.
- Monitors expired, recalled, excess, and slow-moving inventory and coordinates returns or credits.
- Maintains accurate inventory records and assists with physical inventory counts.
- Coordinates with Biomed and other departments regarding medical equipment needs.
- Maintains clean, organized, and appropriately stocked supply areas.
- Serves as a materials and supply resource for Surgical Services, Nursing, and other procedural teams.
- Builds strong working relationships with clinical teams, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and vendors.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- One (1) year of related warehouse, inventory or customer service experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- MS OFfice (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- ERP system, such as Lawson, experience
