IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Tulsa, OK

This role offers an engaging opportunity to contribute as a Pharmacy Technician in a home infusion environment. Working Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, this 16-week contract to hire position involves hands‑on preparation and dispensing of medications with a focus on sterile compounding and IV admixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous (IV) medications, including TPN admixtures.
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data into computer systems for reimbursement processing.
• Operate under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepackage medications following regulatory standards.
• Assist in the final verification of prescriptions and coordinate timely delivery to customers.
• Support pharmacy management by maintaining inventory controls, including receiving, rotating stock, and recording lot numbers and expiration dates.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Experience in home infusion pharmacy or inpatient hospital setting.
• Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques and familiarity with USP 797 clean room guidelines.
• Skilled in preparing IV admixtures and TPN solutions.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
