Addison Group is partnering with a growing healthcare organization seeking Credentialing Specialist to support its credentialing and provider enrollment team. This position is ideal for someone with healthcare credentialing experience who understands the full credentialing lifecycle and is comfortable working with provider documentation, payer applications, and credentialing databases.
Both onsite and remote candidates may be considered, with equipment provided for remote employees.
Key Responsibilities- Manage provider credentialing and recredentialing from initiation through completion.
- Complete and maintain provider enrollment applications with insurance payers and networks.
- Review provider files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Verify and maintain provider licenses, certifications, and other required credentials.
- Track credentialing expirables and follow up on outstanding documentation.
- Maintain accurate provider information within credentialing databases and systems.
- Utilize CAQH and other credentialing data sources to maintain current provider profiles.
- Assist with payer applications and enrollment processes.
- Monitor credentialing and enrollment status and follow up on outstanding applications.
- Communicate with providers, payers, and internal departments to resolve credentialing issues.
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation throughout the credentialing lifecycle.
- Healthcare credentialing and/or provider enrollment experience preferred.
- Behavioral health credentialing experience is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of credentialing and recredentialing processes.
- Familiarity with provider licenses, certifications, supervision requirements, and credentialing documentation.
- Experience with CAQH preferred.
- Knowledge of payer and network enrollment/application processes preferred.
- Oklahoma payer experience is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and communication skills.
