A full-time Clinical Pharmacist Operations Specialist role is available on the day shift in Tulsa, OK. This position supports the smooth functioning of specialty pharmacy operations while providing clinical pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting.

Location:
  • Tulsa, Oklahoma
Schedule:
  • 8 hours per day, day shift
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of specialty practice areas within the pharmacy department such as IV room management, diversion/narcotics control, informatics, and residency program coordination.
  • Provide clinical pharmacy care to patients when functioning as a staff pharmacist.
  • Deliver user support, conduct maintenance, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate upgrade testing, lead educational activities, and act as a subject matter expert for specialty areas.
  • Train and serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
  • Completion of an accredited PGY-1 residency or fellowship AND either a PGY-2 residency/fellowship in the specialty or 3+ years clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Alternatively, 5+ years of clinical pharmacy experience without residency or fellowship.
  • Active Oklahoma pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Required certifications: BLS and ALS/ACLS.
  • Compliance with other applicable state requirements (e.g., sterile compounding).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification or nationally recognized specialty training.
