American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II Trauma hospital, requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT R certification, with first-time travelers welcome.
Details- Level II Trauma Center setting
- CT Tech covering outpatient, inpatient, and ED CT exams
- Outpatient CT department completes over 1000 exams per month, averaging 40 exams per weekday
- May cover inpatient procedures and volumes as needed
- Night shift, 5x8 hours, 19:00-3:30, 40 hours per week
- May float to like units within scope as needed, with brief orientation provided
- Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience
- BLS and ARRT R certification required; ARRT CT certification preferred
- License required if applicable
- Level II Trauma experience required
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Proficiency with image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
- Experience with vascular CTA and contrast media preparation/administration
- Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and radiation safety practices
- Experience with PACS, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment
- Performs CT exams across adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, and ED settings
- Pediatric acute care and outpatient experience is a plus
- Special procedures may include biopsies, aspirations, drainage, myelography, and CT arthrography
- Cardiac CT experience including calcium scoring and coronary angiography is a plus
- Follows isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- First-time travelers will be considered for this role
- Former perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
- RTO must be submitted at time of application
