Le Cœur de Megève is an iconic boutique hotel enjoying an exceptional location in the heart of the famous village of Megève. Reopened in 2018 after a complete renovation, the hotel celebrates the art of living and consists of 38 rooms and suites with contemporary and warm decoration, several chic and cozy dining spaces, and a spa offering organic and natural treatments.

Open all year round, it welcomes a loyal and curious clientele throughout the seasons.

Vos missions principales

Under the responsibility of the Front Office Manager, you coordinate the work of the reception and assist your manager in tasks related to the supervision of the service. Your position includes operational and managerial responsibilities as well as a support role for your service teams.

  • Be the ambassador of Le Cœur de Megève to clients and local partners and have an increased knowledge of the environment of our establishment
  • Fidelisate regular clients and gain the satisfaction of new clients
  • Manage reservation requests by phone, email, website, and via OTAs
  • Manage concierge requests and ensure the needs of clients before and during their stay
  • Ensure the relational part (greeting clients on arrival and departure, hotel tour) and guarantee the assignment of rooms, in close collaboration with the housekeeping service
  • Optimize the reservation planning and verify the reservations on the PMS Mews
  • Coordinate the handling of client luggage, in departure and arrival
  • Handle group requests and ensure follow-up
  • Work on the update of procedures and other operational management documents
  • Participate and animate the morning meetings in the absence of the Front Office Manager
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in the recruitment of the service, the training of teams, and the elaboration of schedules
  • Supervise the reception team (receptionists, guest relations, and night auditor)
  • Control in advance the reservations and client profiles (repeat, anniversary, honeymoon, etc.) and update the client CARDEX on the PMS Mews
  • Take knowledge of the reservations of the day of each client
  • Ensure billing and departure management
  • Develop the hotel's turnover by upsell and cross-sell actions
  • Be in permanent contact with the different services of the hotel (restaurants, floors, bars, spa) to specify the needs of its clients
  • Take reservations at the restaurant and spa and make sales in the boutique
  • Participate in monthly inventories
  • Ensure the handover of instructions at the beginning and end of the shift
  • Ensure the good management of the cash and daily closures
  • Make the link with the technical service of the hotel in case of need
  • Manage the unforeseen and propose adapted solutions in close collaboration with your superiors

Compétences requises :

You are ideally from a hotel training and have a first successful experience of at least one year in a similar position. Mastery of English and a keen sense of customer service are essential for this position. Good mastery of computer tools is essential;

Directly or transversely, you will be working with all the services of the hotel. You must therefore show team spirit and reactivity to ensure the general good functioning of the establishment and satisfy our clients as best as possible.
