As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented General Manager to lead one of our restaurants and uphold our commitment to excellence.
Position Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for leading all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, developing a strong team, delivering memorable guest experiences, and achieving financial goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive and inspiring leader with a passion for hospitality and a strong sense of accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Culture:
- Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team aligned with JTR’s service standards and values.
- Foster a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example with integrity, empathy, and professionalism.
- Ensure every guest receives genuine hospitality and a consistently excellent experience.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback.
- Promote guest engagement, loyalty, and return visits.
- Oversee daily operations including service execution, cleanliness, scheduling, and shift flow.
- Enforce compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate closely with culinary leadership to ensure menu quality and execution.
- Manage controllables and labor to meet or exceed budget targets.
- Drive revenue through private dining bookings, community partnerships, and local promotions.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Prior experience as a General Manager or Assistant GM in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial acumen including budget management, cost control, and an eye for profitability.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest moments.
