Summary:
Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned according to MNGE standards. Provide support service/assistance to the Guest Room Attendant delivering needed supplies, moving furnishings, and deep cleaning as needed. Deliver guest requested items as needed.
Responsibilities:
1. Follows job tasks as assigned by Housekeeping Floor Supervisor.
2. Responds to and or notifies Floor Supervisor of all guest requests or complaints.
3. Maintains hotel public areas such elevator landings, hallways, vending areas.
4. Provide deep cleaning as needed, shampoo carpet, move furnishings etc…
5. Deliver guest requested items.
6. Clean areas assigned using approved methods/procedures, materials, equipment and supplies.
7. Operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, steamers etc.
8. Work safely and efficiently, utilizing safety equipment, techniques and products.
9. Maintain assigned equipment is a clean, orderly and safe condition.
10. Assists others as needed and as assigned by supervisors or management.
11. Cross trains to help when necessary.
12. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
13. Utilize phone, radios and or other methods such as ipad or computer tablets.
14. Other duties as assigned.
