What You Will Do
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll processing for approximately 100 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
  • Maintain employee records within the HRIS and support ongoing data integrity and reporting.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and HR processes.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientation, system setup, and exit procedures.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment, changes, and benefit-related questions.
  • Support recruitment efforts by posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating hiring activities.
  • Assist leadership with employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and applicable nonprofit workforce regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, job descriptions, and HR documentation.
  • Prepare HR reports, audits, and workforce analytics as needed.
  • Partner with leadership to promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Support training, professional development, and organizational initiatives that strengthen employee performance and satisfaction.
  • Assist with workers' compensation, leave administration, and other employee life-cycle activities.
You’ll Know You’re a Good Fit for This Position If You Have…
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three or more years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience processing payroll and administering HR programs with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, payroll compliance, and benefit administration.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented approach.
  • The ability to build trust and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR technology systems.
Preferred Experience
  • HR Experience supporting healthcare, therapy, or pediatric outpatient settings.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience with iSolved HRIS/payroll software; experience with similar HRIS platforms will also be considered.
