The HR Generalist supports a broad range of human resources functions across multiple locations, including full lifecycle - orientation/offboarding, HRIS administration, training, employee relations, benefits, leave management, performance management, and compliance. This role delivers consistent and positive employee experience, ensures accurate HR data and processes, and partners closely with managers, payroll, and vendors to support day-to-day HR operations.

- Execute offboarding processes, including exit documentation, system updates, equipment coordination, and exit interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and employment laws.
- Lifecycle Processes
- Serve as primary support for HRIS administration: data entry, maintenance, troubleshooting, workflows, permissions, and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of HR data across systems.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, onboarding status, training, and other HR trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced reporting capabilities.
- Upload and maintain training materials in the learning management system.
- Track employee training completion and follow-up with managers as needed.
- Provide training reports and support compliance-related training requirements.
- Serve as first point of contact for employee relations questions and concerns.
- Support investigations, documentation, and resolution of workplace issues in partnership with HR leadership.
- Provide guidance to managers on policy interpretation, documentation standards, and corrective action processes.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, employee questions, and vendor coordination.

- Assist employees with understanding benefit options, eligibility, and deadlines.
- Manage leave of absence processes (FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, parental leave, and other programs).
- Track leave status, maintain documentation, and communicate requirements and timelines to employees and managers.
- Support annual review cycles, goal tracking, coaching documentation, and corrective action processes.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and policy application.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support audits, compliance reporting, and documentation requests.
- Help develop and update HR policies, forms, and employee communications.
- Partner with payroll, IT, managers, and external vendors to ensure smooth HR program administration.
- Create and maintain SOPs, templates, and process documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of HR experience across multiple functional areas (recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, employee relations, benefits, leave administration, or HR operations).
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple locations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion with confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with HR metrics, dashboards, and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting multi-location HR operations.
- Strong conflict resolution and coaching skills.
