The Human Resources Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in the Tulsa Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interview schedules with hiring managers. The recruiter supports workforce planning by partnering with departments to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring for both administrative and operational roles.
Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining applicant tracking systems, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and organizational policies, preparing and extending offers, and facilitating onboarding activities for new hires. The role also involves building talent pipelines, attending local recruiting events, and contributing to initiatives that support Metro Link Tulsa’s goal of being an empowered and enviable workplace.
- Source, attract, and engage potential candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and networking events
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and making job offers
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Conduct thorough reference checks and background screenings on potential hires
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and recruitment technologies to ensure a competitive edge in talent acquisition
