HR Generalist / Talent Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist

This role directly impacts employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, talent retention, and organizational performance by providing strategic HR partnership and coaching to leaders across the business.
Location/ScheduleThis position is based within the Oklahoma market and includes up to 20% travel throughout the assigned region to provide in-market HR support and partnership to local leaders.
What You’ll Do In This Role- Partner with Retail Operations to support employee engagement, morale, and retention initiatives.
- Assist with employee relations by gathering information, supporting investigations, and ensuring timely resolution in partnership with senior HR leaders.
- Apply and interpret HR policies and processes while ensuring compliance with company standards and employment regulations.
- Collaborate with leaders to support HR practices and solutions that align with business needs. Provide guidance to Store Leaders on benefits administration, FMLA, LOA, and ADA compliance.
- Contribute to change management efforts that help drive business results and organizational effectiveness.
- Support leadership development initiatives and assist with coordinating training opportunities.
- Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends and prepare insights that support management decision-making.
Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:- 1+ years progressive Human Resources, Business Partner, and Employee relations experience
- Experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or Communication preferred.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications, preferred
Pay Range: $80,000-$90,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
