Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) provides nonstop global IT support to Amazon Operations. OTS tackles IT infrastructure, new technology, facility launches, and customer service.

As an IT Support Engineer II, you'll support, build, implement, and improve technology solutions across sites in a defined geographic area. Manage large projects affecting multiple locations, resolve critical customer issues, and expand your knowledge of software patterns, data structures, AWS, and distributed systems.

• Troubleshoot difficult IT problems without SOPs; plan and coordinate CMs and CM templates.
• Collaborate with internal teams or vendors to execute projects.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Audit the quality of work and provide constructive feedback.
• Automate manual tasks, creating or improving tools to enhance team operations.
• Serve as the first point of escalation.
• Participate in hiring, training, and development of others.
• Support customers from multiple buildings and remote customers.
• Travel within your local or regional area to support our customers.

• 3+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• 4+ years of IT systems or relevant commercial production environment experience.
• 4+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
• 4+ years of Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco IOS (CLI) administration.
• 4+ years of troubleshooting in a multi‑user high‑availability environment.
• 4+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

• 3+ years supporting a Windows Server environment.
• Experience supporting video and teleconference equipment.

Base pay ranges from $54,700 to $122,200 per year depending on location. Amazon also offers comprehensive healthcare, 401(k) matching, up to 20 weeks paid parental leave, and a casual dress code.
