Job Summary:

The Manager, Supply Chain Data and Analytics will be responsible for developing key measurements as required by leadership through architecture and enterprise integration. This role will develop advanced analytics and automation of processes that will directly impact top-line growth, patient quality outcomes, and quantifiable financial performance. They will also be the conduit for any master data management and data quality for the Workday Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.

This would include workday, Premier Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), and contract manager applications. This step would also allow the supply chain department to map the full cradle to grave data life cycle of creation to deletion ensuring rigorous business processes are in place.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification:
Green Belt Certification from Lean Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, EPIC Caboodle and EPIC Clarity, preferred.

Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years of Data Analytics or Supply Chain experience. Experience leading Supply Chain Analytics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) techniques and development frameworks. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software. Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), data visualization tools such as Power Business Intelligence (BI), Qlik, and Tableau and advanced data analytic tools such as Python, R, Statistical Analysis System (SAS). Knowledge of database management and analytics with an understanding of operational programs and processes.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from data and the ability to translate these insights into clear priorities and interventions. Team building and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and manage work under pressure in a constantly changing environment, balancing and prioritizing multiple projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
Leads strategically and develops teams to work as hands on analysts and helps scale operations, standardize processes and help deploy technical solutions such as Premier Service Line Analytics (SLA) or Contract Explorer through the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO). Owns all aspects of Supply Chain transactional and Material Master data across ERP, Premier GPO, and contract management applications, and leads the evolution from static reporting to predictive analytics by designing automated workflows and machine learning solutions that optimize resource utilization.

Partners with Materials Management Information System (MMIS) Analyst to map the full "cradle-to-grave" data lifecycle—from item creation to deletion—ensuring rigorous business processes are in place. Architects and deploys data models that will serve as the “future state” for the Supply Chain organization, and delivers critical spend impact analysis, clinical crosswalks, and inventory changeover reports to guide conversion processes. Serves as a liaison between Premier GPO, Workday IT, and Epic teams to ensure seamless data alignment across Supply Chain applications and data sources.

Partners closely with the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team to advocate and prepare for the deployment of Supply Chain data into the corporate EDW. Maintains detailed knowledge of data systems, data sources, and related software systems while keeping abreast of new emerging industry standards and guidelines.
