What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of UKG Pro enhancement initiatives, including system configuration, integration setup, testing, deployment, and ongoing support for the UKG Pro platform and related systems.
  • Collaborate with process owners to analyze, document, and resolve system defects, enhancement requests, and project-driven changes.
  • Configure UKG Pro modules and supporting tools—such as Integrations, API-based connections, Import Interfaces, UTA, WFM, and BI/Reporting—while ensuring adherence to established design and compliance standards.
  • Perform integration work including file-based interfaces (CSV/XML/SFTP) and API endpoints (REST/SOAP) to support inbound/outbound data flows with internal and third‑party applications.
  • Develop and update system documentation, configuration logs, data flow diagrams, and end‑user training materials.
  • Gather, evaluate, and document complex business requirements; consult with stakeholders on configuration impact, feasibility, system constraints, and integration dependencies.
  • Provide accurate effort estimates, identify risks, and propose technical solutions to deliver requested capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the use of UKG Pro features, automation, or integrations across other business areas.
  • Coordinate development and deployment activities with internal Payroll/IT teams, infrastructure personnel, and external vendors as required.
  • Ensure all work follows established change control, security, and governance procedures, including audit‑ready documentation.
  • Provide end-user guidance, consulting, and functional/technical training to ensure effective and compliant use of UKG Pro.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on departmental needs.

Education & Experience

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with UKG Pro, including system configuration, integration development, workflow setup, BI reporting, or module administration is required, with a minimum of 1 year.
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting integrations using Dell Boomi.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency with Dell Boomi Atom Sphere, including:
  • Integration development
  • Process deployment
  • API management
  • Error handling and troubleshooting
  • Data transformation and mapping
  • Demonstrated ability to work with development tools or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, JavaScript, Power Shell, or comparable technologies).
  • Strong understanding of database concepts, relational data structures, and data mapping for interface development.
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery methods.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure concepts including SFTP, networking basics, data security, and authentication models.
  • Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of applied mathematics, logic, and statistical methods.

Professional Skills

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience facilitating meetings, gathering requirements, delivering presentations, and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • High proficiency with office productivity tools, including spreadsheets and documentation platforms.
  • Ability to read and write English fluently.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to use necessary office tools and equipment and perform essential visual and communication functions.
