Junior Software Testers
Join our dynamic team as a Junior Software Tester and play a vital role in delivering reliable, efficient systems that support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct all phases of testing for business-critical systems, including designing, executing, and tracking test cases to identify and document software issues.
- Support the creation, review, and maintenance of system specifications, including business processes, functional requirements, and design documents.
- Collaborate closely with business and development teams to deepen understanding of supported systems and requirements.
- Develop and implement detailed, moderately complex testing procedures to assess process efficiency and data integrity.
- Document test results meticulously and report issues clearly to facilitate prompt resolution.
- Assist in planning and executing software testing activities, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
- Recommend enhancements and procedural improvements for supported systems to optimize performance and usability.
- Create and maintain straightforward to moderately complex queries and reports to aid data analysis and decision‑making.
- Contribute to business analysis tasks as a proactive member of project teams.
- Support the documentation of system operating procedures, user manuals, and reports.
- Participate in team meetings, provide feedback, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or related fields; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
- Basic experience or training in enterprise applications, desktop systems, hardware, and SQL querying.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, research, and resolve system issues.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to research and understand technical manuals, reports, and correspondence.
- Familiarity with developing and presenting information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to perform arithmetic and computer‑based math calculations accurately.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for mobility requirements and travel within office facilities.
- Interpersonal communication skills to effectively guide and train users.
- Experience with system evaluation, troubleshooting, and report generation.
- Visual acuity sufficient for system testing and analysis.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
$30.00 – $38.00 Hourly
