Our client is seeking an experienced Analyst II
to support the design, configuration, and maintenance of SCADA systems used for operational and measurement data across pipeline and energy assets. You'll work closely with operations, measurement, and IT/OT teams to ensure reliable data flow, system performance, and continuous improvement of SCADA applications.
Contract Duration: 6 months | W2
Location: Onsite (Only local candidates will be considered)
Requirements- Configure, troubleshoot, and support SCADA systems, including operational and measurement data gathering.
- Develop and maintain SCADA application components, screens, displays, and data interfaces.
- Support business processes by translating requirements into SCADA system functionality.
- Perform system assessments and contribute to SCADA design and development activities.
- Maintain and enhance data acquisition workflows using Clear
SCADA, Auto Sol, Kepware, and OPC‑based integrations. - Write SQL queries and support database development for SCADA data management.
- Create and maintain scripts using Python or VBScript for automation and system optimization.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve system reliability.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Associate degree in a technical field OR equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Python and/or VBScript for Windows‑based scripting.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with SCADA systems in OT, IT, or industrial environments.
- Strong experience with Clear
SCADA, Auto Sol, Kepware, and OPC protocol. - Solid SQL skills and experience with database development/management.
- Understanding of network operations, telecommunications, and general IT concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience supporting SCADA systems in oil & gas, pipeline, or industrial automation environments.
- Business analysis skills (requirements gathering, system analysis, process improvement)
