The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable data solutions that enable reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making. This role focuses on building reliable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and providing technical support in a fast-paced business environment.

• Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Consolidate disparate data into unified, reliable datasets for enterprise use.
• Implement data validation, quality monitoring, and alerting processes.
• Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics platforms.
• Follow established software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and technical standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define technical requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Participate in troubleshooting and performance optimization efforts.

• Investigate and resolve data and system-related issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and technical processes.
• Develop internal documentation and knowledge resources.
• Participate in on-call or after-hours support as needed.

• May serve in a technical lead capacity for specific initiatives or products.
• Coordinate across technical teams to ensure alignment on development efforts.
• Provide mentorship, knowledge transfer, and code review support to team members.

• Continuously expand technical expertise through training and industry research.
• Apply feedback and best practices to improve solution quality and efficiency.

• 3–5 years of experience developing data solutions in a business or enterprise environment.
• Experience with data integration, transformation, and database technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience with data modeling, business intelligence tools, and enterprise data platforms.
• Familiarity with modern data architecture and governance principles.
