Monday-Friday, normal business hours with some evenings and weekends.
System One has partnered with a growing manufacturing company with locations across the United States that is seeking an expert level Workday Data and Reporting Analyst to join their team as a consultant. This organization has recently implemented Workday and is seeking a skilled individual to specifically assist in the build of dashboards for payroll, recruiting and time tracking & attendance functions.
The role is a contract/consulting position with potential to transition to permanent/full‑time. The analyst will be able to work remotely, but must be willing to provide expert‑level knowledge and collaboration to help train current team members with possible travel required. - Independently collect, clean, and analyze complex HR datasets from multiple sources (HRIS, surveys, performance systems).
- Design, build, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to translate data findings into strategic recommendations.
- Support workforce planning and talent strategy through data modeling and forecasting.
- Manage timelines, stakeholder communications, and deliverables for analytics initiatives.
- Evaluate and improve data collection and reporting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Recommend and implement automation solutions where applicable.
- Create compelling visual narratives to support HR strategy and decision‑making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree, preferred.
- 3‑5+ years of experience in Workday HR analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Workday HRIS systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a deep understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non‑technical audiences.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
