The Technical Analyst III job family is responsible for delivering superior services acting as a liaison between the line of business and IT with a focus on end user experience such as user interfacing, user flow, data flow, and/or other UI/UX strategies. Use your technical expertise to analyze, design, implement, and support critical systems aligned to our long term technology roadmap.

The Technical Analyst manages plans, organizes, and controls projects which have an organizational impact as well as provides day-to-day support for complex applications systems.

This is a senior-level role requiring deep expertise in financial systems, integration patterns, and cross-functional solution design.

• You will translate finance team requirements into technical specifications and workflows.
• You will resolve root cause analysis, issue triage, and resolution in a production environment.
• You will work with API integrations, middleware, or ETL tools used to connect disparate systems.
• You will use your experience with application integration and data flow between finance systems and core platforms (e.g., general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, or banking systems).
• You will write business and functional requirements for simple to complex projects.
• You will analyze, design, plan, test, and deploy complex systems software and programs.
• You will perform business process modeling (includes logical modeling, data retention, and business process modeling) for simple to complex projects.
• You will perform job scheduling responsibilities including writing, reading, and troubleshooting job plans.
• You will develop simple to moderate batch scripts & stored procedures and provide technical requirements/specifications.
• You will employ IT governance policies, project architecture methodology and service oriented architecture (SOA) policies, and technology standards. Construct SOA web services and employ architectural contracts.
• You will mentor other analysts by providing oversight of projects or day to day support efforts.
• You will have experienced technical understanding of single application data flows across multiple applications, software and system integrations, RDBMS principles, tiered environments, Cloud environments, and well developed project management skills.

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of (a/an) Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field of study and / or 3-5 years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience. Single application data flows across multiple applications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise financial applications or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar).
• Proven experience with application integration and data flow between finance systems and core platforms (e.g., general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, or banking systems).
• Strong understanding of financial processes such as journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis tools for troubleshooting and reporting.
• Familiarity with API integrations, middleware, or ETL tools used to connect disparate systems.
• Experience overseeing system upgrades, patching, and testing cycles in collaboration with IT and finance stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance, audit trails, and data integrity controls in financial systems.
• Experience with change control processes and working in environments with formal SDLC or Agile methodologies.
• Ability to translate finance team requirements into technical specifications and workflows.
• Experience in root cause analysis, issue triage, and resolution in a production environment.
• Strong documentation skills for process flows, system configurations, and change management.
• Proficiency in SQL and Database Technologies:
  Advanced skills in SQL for querying and managing data, along with experience in working with various database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
