Primary Responsibilities- Assist with design, planning and implementation of server and client operating‑system upgrade.
- Work with site IT teams to ensure network and security policies are followed.
- Investigate potential control weaknesses and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Develop a set of reporting metrics and publish them monthly.
- Receive, triage, and analyze customer requests via telephone and email.
- Provide responsive end‑user support for technology and application questions and problems.
- Support and troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.
- Support and troubleshoot stand‑alone peripherals (printers, scanners) and provide oversight for company phone systems.
- Configure and support PC, laptop and peripheral hardware, including installing and configuring software programs.
- Diagnose and solve hardware problems.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise for projects; manage projects as appropriate.
- Keep abreast of current software and hardware technology trends.
- Occasionally perform special projects; perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Windows XP, MS OS, MS Office applications, and MS Windows Active Directory.
- Possess extensive hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Apply creative problem‑solving and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Self‑starter capable of frequent multi‑tasking.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Deliver customer service to users with varying computer knowledge.
- Identify automation opportunities by building rapport with internal clients and learning their processes.
- Document current and future state processes, identifying automation opportunities.
- Develop and report business cases to management to justify project expenses.
- Design reports through Power BI, SQL Server, Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, VBA, Microsoft Access, SharePoint and Power Apps to support implementation.
- Define required inputs and process modifications for reports and system metrics, supporting automation opportunities.
- Design and build a digital dashboard to monitor key performance indicators.
- Provide documentation and training for new process implementation guidelines.
- Develop and maintain applications and databases using Power BI, SQL Server, VBA, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and Power Apps.
- Fully on‑site presence required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration, or a related technological field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience, preferably including 3–4 years as a manager.
- Strong proficiency in identifying and evaluating complex network infrastructures.
- Strong working knowledge of Cisco, VMware, EMC and MS Windows applications.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and working with various management levels; global collaboration experience is beneficial.
- Proficiency in team‑building, collaboration, verbal and written communication, and creative problem‑solving.
