Tech Partners is seeking an IT Technician for a full-time, onsite role in Tulsa. This position provides frontline technical support across desktops, devices, networks, and end-user systems. Its a strong fit for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, customer-focused support, and working in a manufacturing environment.
What Youll Do- Provide daily technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and updates
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory, email, and business systems
- Support onboarding/offboarding, including equipment setup and access changes
- Maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, and documentation
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors when needed
- Assist with routine maintenance, backups, and security practices
- Support basic cybersecurity measures (patching, antivirus, MFA)
- Deliver clear, customer-focused communication to end users
Required:
- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of IT support or help desk experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Mac experience a plus)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation
- Exposure to cybersecurity best practices
- Experience supporting ERP, CAD, or manufacturing software
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Time management and prioritization
- Attention to detail and documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Professional, service-oriented demeanor
- Location: Tulsa, OK
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- Position Type: Full-time, exempt
- Travel: Local travel between facilities is required
- Environment: Office + manufacturing floor (PPE required when on the plant floor)
