Job Summary: Heitmeyer has banking client that has a need within their Digital Channel Delivery organization for a Business Systems Analyst to deliver new functionality via both the online and mobile channels. This individual will work closely with line of business partners and across the technology organization to support the strategic roadmap across the digital channels. The role is aligned with a Tulsa, OK location.

Job Description: The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting a new initiative to create a brand-new experience for customers within the digital channels. This individual must be able to take general requirements and concepts and develop diagrams for feature flows to support use cases and user stories through a close partnership with LOB partners and multiple technology stakeholders. The role requires strong attention to detail and ensuring all documentation is captured for the entire process and supports the agile needs end to end through testing and implementation.

MUST have completed work as a Business Systems Analyst
:

Ability to breakdown the feature requirements – take epics and develop into refined requirements.
Troubleshooting operational logs (
SQL and further understanding of API calls
).
Coordinated customer-facing strategic initiatives for digital experience (prefer both online and mobile). Examples could include online account opening, new service functionality, money movement (transfers, payments), digital wallet.
Managed initiatives that supported self-service experiences for customers
.

Able to plan, organize and deliver on IT projects along with supporting complex application systems.

Expert skills at diagraming use cases to demonstrate feature flows to drive story creation while collaborating with all stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate current state compared to desired future state and capture competitor solutions to support potential options
.

Project management methodology and organizational skills that include all documentation – capture stories, UAT test cases, processes, procedures, flow diagrams, artifacts
.

Experience across software integration including development, testing, UAT, product, disaster recovery including strong SQL Query capability.

Very familiar with Agile processes along with waterfall experience.

Must have ability to build relationships with technology and LOB partners with solid communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

Beneficial if have started to integrate AI tools into how complete work – CoPilot/Agentic AI.

Experience with in financial services – especially within technical or data analysis or bank operations.

Helpful if have Dev Ops experience to support ongoing maintenance work.

Top Responsibilities:

Diagram new feature flows and create use cases to drive story development
Able to create user stories for development work along with testing support with test plans and case development.
Serve as a liaison between the LOB and IT with focus on end user experience – user interfacing, user flow, data flow and overall UI/UX strategies.
Manage, plan and organize projects that have significant organizational impact.
Provide day-to-day support for complex application systems across the environment.
Ensure full documentation of all processes, procedures, program artifacts and all critical information regarding technology projects.
