We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across LAN and WAN environments. This role will work closely with infrastructure and security teams to maintain reliable, secure, and scalable network operations while supporting deployments, upgrades, and incident response activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet technologies in enterprise production environments.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot LAN and WAN connectivity and service issues
- Configure and support Cisco Catalyst 3750x, 9200, and 9300 switches
- Support Cisco Nexus switching platforms
- Configure Cisco ASR and ISR routing platforms
- Configure and support Cisco Meraki environments
- Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet Forti Gate and Forti Switch platforms
- Support VLANs, trunking, routing, and enterprise network connectivity
- Install and support network hardware and infrastructure
- Activate and support leased WAN circuits
- Create and maintain network documentation
- Review change scripts and implementation plans
- Participate in project meetings and operational support activities
- Partner with security teams to mitigate network threats
- Support SNMP monitoring and logging solutions
- Cisco Routing & Switching
- Fortinet Forti Gate & Forti Switch
- LAN/WAN Troubleshooting
- VLANs and Dot1Q Trunking
- Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)
- Ether Channel / Port Channel
- VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding)
- Routing Protocols
- DHCP
- IP ACLs
- 802.1x
- TACACS+
- AAA Troubleshooting
- Network Documentation & Change Management
- CCNA Certification (active or recently expired acceptable)
- Healthcare industry experience
- Enterprise multi-site networking experience
- Experience with downloadable ACLs
- Strong troubleshooting and incident response background
- Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field
- Equivalent hands-on technical training and networking experience acceptable
- 5+ years of Information Systems experience
- 3+ years of hands-on Cisco networking experience
- Strong enterprise networking and infrastructure support background
- You do not have hands-on Cisco networking experience
- Your experience is primarily desktop/helpdesk support
- You have limited LAN/WAN troubleshooting exposure
You have not worked with enterprise network infrastructure - You lack experience with routing, switching, VLANs, or ACLs
