Job Description
We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer / Tester to join our team in Tulsa, OK. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications across mobile, web, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing and exposure to automation testing, working closely with development teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
The tester will be responsible for executing test plans, creating test cases, identifying defects, and supporting automation initiatives to maintain high-quality product standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing for applications across iOS, Android, web platforms, and APIs/Services.
- Assist with automation testing for APIs/Services using scripting languages such as Type Script or Java Script .
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases and test scenarios to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Execute test plans, record results, and track defects in test management systems.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and verify bug fixes.
- Use Jira and Confluence for defect tracking, documentation, and Agile collaboration.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings within an Agile Scrum framework.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, test strategies, and automation initiatives.
- Troubleshoot test failures and provide clear feedback to development teams.
- Ensure testing activities align with project timelines and quality standards.
- Experience with manual testing across web, mobile (iOS & Android), and APIs/Services.
- Exposure to automation testing frameworks and scripting with JavaScript or Type Script .
- Hands-on experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation.
- Strong understanding of test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST clients, or similar).
- Knowledge of automation tools or frameworks for API testing.
- Prior experience supporting mobile and cross-platform applications.
