Systems Analyst Programmer, Level V

Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Analyst Programmer, Level Vto join our team! You will analyze data processing problems to improve computer systems. This is a hybrid position. When required to work in person, the office location is at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.

• Performs high-level systems analysis, design, programming, documentation, testing, and implementation of very complex applications, which are administrative, business, or technically oriented in nature.
• Modifying existing applications, configuring commercial-off-the-shelf applications, and/or developing new applications.
• Applies higher-level business and data manipulation principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated solutions.
• Designs charts and graphs to record results.
• Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings as required by the task on a highly complex combination of one or more task orders.
• Provides management with status of projects, problems or other outstanding project related issues.
• Establishes and maintains system security.
• Designing, developing and maintaining information system(s) that utilizing Oracle database 19c or higher, Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) and ensuring that project and various industry standards are addressed.
• Understand user requirements and procedures.
• Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
• Determine cost, timetable, and compatibility for new systems.
• Consult with managers to implement new computer systems.

• Requires knowledge and experience with a variety of operating systems, web browsers, and miscellaneous software tools.
• Previous experience in IT, computer science, or other related fields.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and routing.
• Ability to evaluate software systems.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Knowledge of .NET technologies to include Visual Basic (VB).NET and C#, Active Server Page .NET (ASP NET), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, Structured Query Language (SQL), Oracle Stored Procedure (PL/SQL), Telerik, Aspose.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, relevant work experience required.
