We are seeking a D365 Financial Systems Consultant - with a finance-first mindset and strong technical expertise. This is a remote 3- 6-month contract engagement. This role will bridge the gap between finance operations and technology, ensuring accurate data, robust analytics, and optimal system performance across finance-related platforms. You will be reporting to the VP of IT supporting the VP of Finance.

This role has strong understanding of finance and experience with data validation and analytics.

• Strong background in systems/data
  , finance, financial analytics with proven ability to connect business needs to system capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems and reporting tools, for example - Microsoft BI, D365, Quick Books, and Salesforce.
• Excellent data analysis and validation skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

• Partner closely with Finance leadership to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable system and data solutions.
• Perform data validation and ensure the integrity of financial and operational data across multiple platforms.
• Analyze datasets to deliver actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.
• Provide subject matter expertise in finance systems, processes, and reporting.
• Support and optimize usage of key systems, including:
  Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365);
  Quick Books.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and recommend system/process improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Business Operations teams to streamline reporting and analytics workflows.

The expected salary range for this position is $50/hr - $75/hr depending on experience and qualifications.
