Innova Solutions is hiring a Sr. AWS Engineer with Python.

Position Type:Full-time, contract
Duration:6+ months
Location:100% Remote. Ideally CST/EST time zones!


*** Sr. AWS Engineer with AWS, ETL, Python, Lambda, and SDLC experience.

*** Code up to 70% of time.

*** Lots of design work.

*** Will be using Lambda functions in Python when working with AWS.

*** 15+ years experience

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborativeAWS Engineerto join our team in building a new platform to process new members for Thrivent. This role involves a mix of hands-on coding, solution design, and close teamwork in an Agile environment.


Key Responsibilities :

• Participate indaily Scrum meetingsandstand-upsto ensure alignment and progress.
• Spend approximately
  65% of your time coding hands-on, primarily in Python.
• Design and implement
  
  AWS Lambda functions using Python.
• Collaborate closely with the team toideate and create greenfield solutions for new platform capabilities.
• Contribute to solution design more extensively than initially scoped, helping shape the architecture and approach.
• Work tightly with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Develop innovative solutions and approaches to meet business and technical needs.

Tech Stack & Tools:

• Python
• AWS Lambda
• Agile/Scrum methodologies

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Building anew platform to support onboarding and processing of new members at Thrivent.
• Engaging in greenfield development and solution ideation.
• Helping define and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure backend services.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:$80-90/hr W2.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
