Sr. Project Manager (Data & AI Platforms)
Reports toPMO / Customer Success Director
LocationAfrica & Middle East (Hybrid with regional travel)
Role OverviewThis role is not about managing timelines—it’s about owning outcomes. As a Sr. Project Manager at Liga Data, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale data and AI initiatives for tier‑1 telecom and enterprise clients across Africa and the Middle East. You will operate at the intersection of technology, business, and client strategy, ensuring that every engagement delivers measurable value.
You will be accountable for delivery excellence, client success, and commercial performance, while leading cross‑functional teams across multiple geographies.
- Delivery Ownership & Execution – Own end-to-end delivery of data and AI platform implementations;
Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards;
Drive planning, execution, and governance;
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Commercial & Financial Accountability – Manage project financials, including budget and margin optimization;
Align delivery with commercial commitments;
Support revenue realization and identify upsell opportunities. - Client Leadership & Stakeholder Management – Act as primary client contact including executive stakeholders;
Build strong relationships and lead governance forums;
Position Liga Data as a strategic partner. - Team Leadership & Performance – Lead cross‑functional teams (Data, Engineering, Product);
Drive accountability and performance;
Optimize resource utilization. - Governance, Reporting & Communication – Establish reporting frameworks;
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly.

- Experience in data/AI or platform delivery
- Enterprise and multi-country experience

- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile
