Overview

At BOK Financial, our Payments Technology team supports mission-critical wire and payment processing for Domestic and International Wires using the Fusion Global PAYplus (FGPP) Payment Hub. We are seeking a Technical Analyst II who enjoys working at the intersection of payments operations, technology, and production support.

This role is heavily involved in payment rail implementations, complex issue resolution, vendor coordination, and ongoing production support, ensuring payment workflows are stable, compliant, and scalable. You will partner closely with IT engineers, operations teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to keep high-value, time-sensitive payments flowing correctly every day.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day application support for the Payment Hub (FGPP) and related wire systems supporting Domestic and International Wires, including incident, problem, and change activities.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot payment processing issues involving wire creation, validation, screening, posting, returns, and downstream reporting across integrated platforms (e.g., FGPP, DBIQ, Total Messaging, Total Screening).
  • Partner with Payments Operations to understand real-world processing issues and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors to research defects, submit cases, validate fixes, and support releases and hotfix testing.
  • Support testing activities including test planning, scenario design, execution, and validation for enhancements, defect fixes, and regulatory changes.
  • Participate in payments transformation initiatives, including wire rail enhancements, ISO 20022 changes, and new payment rail onboarding, supporting both project delivery and production readiness.
  • Assist with JIRA backlog management, incident/problem tracking, and documentation to ensure transparency and auditability.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and runbooks to support operations and ongoing support models.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners during time-sensitive payment events.
Essential Duties
  • Practical understanding of banking payments and wire processing life cycles (Domestic and/or International Wires preferred).
  • Experience supporting complex, integrated application environments with upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • SQL querying and relational databases.
    • Application data flows across multiple systems.
    • Tiered environments (Development, Test, UAT, Production, DR).
    • System integration concepts and messaging frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to assess operational risk and customer impact.
  • Ability to document requirements, test scenarios, and production support procedures clearly and concisely.
  • Comfort working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery models.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially during incidents or production events.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field and/or 3-5 years of experience in Technical Analysis, Payments Technology, Banking Operations, or Production Application Support.
  • Experience with payments platforms, wire systems, or payment hubs is strongly preferred.
